Where it is
The plan bounds the Eastside district by Baars Street on the north, Cervantes Street on the south and Hayne Street on the west. On the east, the line follows Sixth Avenue to Mallory Street, then Eighth Avenue to Lee Street, then Ninth Avenue. The district was created in 2004, when the Eastside Neighborhood Plan was adopted as part of the city’s Urban Infill and Redevelopment Area Plan. The Eastside Neighborhood Association, founded in 1999, began work on that plan, the city says.
The plan also records the neighborhood’s history with the interstate: part of it, known as the “Lost Community,” existed until the late 1970s, when construction of I-110 uprooted long-established businesses, homes and churches.
Escambia County’s address map places about 860 addresses in the district, all in the city. About three in four are in ZIP code 32503 and the rest in 32501. About one in nine carries a unit number. The streets with the most addresses are Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Davis Highway, Hayne Street and Sixth, Seventh and Eighth avenues.

Home values
Zillow does not publish an Eastside value. The Zillow Home Value Index for its two ZIP codes:

| Pensacola (city) | $266,727 | $263,477 | +1.2% |
The index is a modeled typical value for the middle third of homes, not a sale price. ZIP 32503 stretches north and east to Cordova Park and East Pensacola Heights, so it is a broad guide to the Eastside only. More is on our home prices page.
