Valentine's Day in Pensacola 2027: events, dinners, date ideas

Valentine’s Day 2027 falls on Sunday, Feb. 14. It is four months away, and most Pensacola restaurants and venues announce Valentine’s plans in January. Two shows that weekend are already on sale: a Pensacola Symphony Orchestra pops concert at the Saenger and a new production at Pensacola Little Theatre. Mardi Gras comes first: Fat Tuesday is Feb. 9.

Confirmed for Valentine’s weekend 2027

“Short Attention Span Theatre,” Feb. 12-21. Pensacola Little Theatre brings back favorite short pieces from its 24-hour theater tradition, where plays are written, cast and rehearsed in a single day, along with some new works. It opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, in Studio 400 at the Pensacola Cultural Center, 400 S. Jefferson St., and closes with a 2:30 p.m. show Sunday, Feb. 21.

“The Movie Music of John Williams and More,” 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13. The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Peter Rubardt, plays film music by John Williams and others at the Saenger Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert runs about two hours, which leaves time for dinner before or a drink after on Palafox Street.

Mardi Gras first

Fat Tuesday is Feb. 9, 2027, five days before Valentine’s Day. Visit Pensacola says the weekend before Fat Tuesday is Pensacola’s busiest Mardi Gras weekend, with three major parades; routes are on its Mardi Gras page. Downtown will be busy that weekend, so plan a Valentine’s dinner downtown for the following weekend.
