Sushi and Asian restaurants in Pensacola: Bayou Boulevard and downtown

Pensacola’s sushi and Asian places gather in two areas. Bayou Boulevard, North Ninth Avenue and Cordova Mall have most of the sushi bars, poke shops and counters. Downtown has Thai on Jefferson Street, Khon’s on Palafox and three stands at The Garden, the covered food hall at Palafox and Main streets. A third group is along Airport Boulevard and North Davis Highway.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Pensacola’s city limits, the same records that feed our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. We added places the map missed from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s restaurant inspection records, the Cordova Mall dining directory and The Garden at Palafox + Main, and checked every added address against the city limits. Seven places have no website we could find and are listed because the state inspected them between July and October 2026. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or recommendation; nobody paid to be on it. A place can write to us to correct its entry.

The places

Bluefin Poke, The Garden at Palafox + Main. A poke shop that began in Spanish Fort, Alabama, in 2020. Bowls are made to order, with ramen and musubi on the menu, and the dog-friendly outdoor seating has heaters for cool days.

Eurasian Bistro, The Garden. A Vietnamese restaurant’s airstream at the food hall, The Garden’s site says.

Flip-n-Yaki, The Garden. A Pan-Asian airstream at the food hall.

Fuji Sushi and Grill, 6235 N. Davis Highway. No website; the state inspected it in July 2026.

HQ BBQ and Hot Pot, 4958 Bayou Blvd. A barbecue and hot pot restaurant. Its site would not load for us; the state inspected it in July 2026.

Hula Hawaiian Barbecue, 4771 Bayou Blvd., Suite 4. A Hawaiian barbecue restaurant with a second shop on West Nine Mile Road.

Izumi, 1240 Airport Blvd. A sushi restaurant on Airport Boulevard. No website; the state inspected it Oct. 1.

Khon’s on Palafox, 34 S. Palafox St. A downtown restaurant whose site sits behind a bot check; the state inspected it in July 2026.

New Yums Chinese Carry Out, 1620 Airport Blvd. A Chinese carryout. No website; the state inspected it in August 2026.

Nippon Sushi, Cordova Mall. Sushi made daily and to order, for dine-in or carryout, the mall’s directory says.

Panda Express, 1260 Airport Blvd. The Chinese fast-food chain’s Airport Boulevard restaurant. Its page would not load for us; the phone is from our directory record.

Sabai on Jefferson, 130 S. Jefferson St. A downtown Thai restaurant that takes reservations, open for lunch and dinner six days a week.

Sarku Japan, Cordova Mall. A Japanese counter chain whose locations page lists the Cordova Mall shop.

Siam Thai Cuisine, 7164 N. Ninth Ave. A Thai restaurant. No website; the state inspected it in September 2026.

Sushi Masa, 4731 Bayou Blvd. A sushi restaurant. No website; the state inspected it Oct. 7.

Wako Japanese Cuisine, 5045 N. Ninth Ave. A Japanese restaurant with all-you-can-eat sushi at lunch and dinner, plus online ordering.

Wok A Holic, Cordova Mall. No website; the state inspected it in July 2026.

Yummy Poke, 5046 Bayou Blvd., Suite C. A poke bowl shop that also makes burritos, with online ordering for pickup.
