Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants in Pensacola

Most of Pensacola’s Mexican and Tex-Mex places are around Cordova Mall: Chipotle and Moe’s at the mall, Chili’s nearby on North Ninth Avenue, Tijuana Flats on Bayou Boulevard and Cactus Cantina on North 12th Avenue. Downtown has Salterra on Palafox Place, and Pedro’s is on North Davis Highway.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Pensacola’s city limits, the same records that feed our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 11, 2026. We added places the map missed from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s restaurant inspection records and the Cordova Mall dining directory, and checked every added address against the city limits. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. A place can write to us to correct its entry.

The places

Cactus Cantina Mexican Grill, 5121 N. 12th Ave. A Mexican grill on North 12th Avenue. Its site sits behind a bot check that would not load for us; the state inspected it in July 2026, and the phone is from our directory record.

Chili’s Grill & Bar, 5170 N. Ninth Ave. The Tex-Mex and American chain’s restaurant near Cordova Mall. Its menu lists fajitas and quesadillas, and its page offers pickup and delivery.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Cordova Mall. A counter-service chain serving burritos, bowls and tacos, at the front of the mall. Its page listed short Friday hours when we checked, so call before a Friday visit.

Moe’s Southwest Grill, Cordova Mall. A counter-service chain outside the mall’s main entrance. Its page lists burritos, quesadillas and tacos, vegetarian and kids’ options and catering, and says chips and salsa come free with every meal.

Pedro’s Tacos and Tequila Bar, 6233 N. Davis Highway. A taco restaurant and bar on North Davis Highway. We found no website or phone; the state inspected it in August 2026.

Pen-taco-la, 3000 N. 12th Ave. A taco spot on North 12th Avenue. Its ordering site would not load its hours for us; the phone is from our directory record.

Salterra, 19 Palafox Place. A coastal Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown, in its own words. Its site gives the address and a phone but no hours.

Taco Bell, 2011 Airport Blvd. The fast-food chain’s Airport Boulevard restaurant, which keeps the latest hours on this list.

Taco Bell, 1201 E. Cervantes St. The chain’s East Cervantes Street restaurant. Its location page was not found when we checked; the state inspected it in August 2026.

Tijuana Flats, 4970 Bayou Blvd., Suite 300. A Tex-Mex chain on Bayou Boulevard near Cordova Mall. Its page offers online ordering and catering.
