Palafox Market runs every Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine, downtown at Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza and Plaza Ferdinand VII, with farmers, artists and craftspeople. The Saturday before Mother’s Day is May 8, 2027. See our farmers markets guide.

An afternoon out

  • Pensacola Museum of Art, 407 S. Jefferson St.: open noon to 4 p.m. Sundays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, according to the museum. Its unified ticket covers the museums of the Historic Trust complex for seven days.
  • A bayfront walk: Community Maritime Park, Plaza de Luna and Bayview Park all have paths on the water. See our walking and biking trails guide.
  • Gulf Breeze Zoo, 5701 Gulf Breeze Parkway, is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the zoo recommends buying tickets in advance.

Downtown’s free Gallery Night falls on the third Friday of each month. In 2026 the May theme was “Festa Italiana,” on May 15, according to Gallery Night Pensacola; the 2027 dates are not out yet.
