Food businesses licensed since July

These businesses passed a food-licensing inspection by the state between July 1 and Oct. 8, 2026, at Pensacola addresses in the 32501 to 32505 ZIP codes. A licensing inspection is done when a business opens or changes owners, so some may be new owners at an existing spot. All of these ended with no further action.

Opening a business in Pensacola

Anyone doing business inside city limits needs a Business Tax Receipt from the City of Pensacola for each location, according to the city’s Business Tax Receipts page. Fees vary with the type of business and are due by Sept. 30 each year. A receipt can be transferred to a new owner for a fee with proof of the sale. Holders must also follow city and county building, fire and health codes and zoning laws.

Food trucks are licensed by the state’s Division of Hotels and Restaurants; some prepackaged-food vendors are regulated by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services instead. Register a company with the state’s Division of Corporations at Sunbiz, and check the city’s zoning before you sign a lease; see our permits and zoning guide.

How we find new businesses
