Six high schools with Pensacola addresses play varsity football: Escambia County Public Schools’ Booker T. Washington, Pensacola, Escambia, West Florida and Pine Forest, and the private Pensacola Catholic. Catholic (6-1) and Washington (5-1) lead the way. None of the six has a result posted for Oct. 8-10, the days Hurricane Isaias reached the Panhandle, and four games are now listed for Tuesday, Nov. 3, so check the school’s schedule before you head out.

Booker T. Washington Wildcats, 5-1 (schedule): beat Pine Forest 27-26, Navarre 45-27, Pensacola 35-13, Gulf Breeze 56-0 and Escambia 16-13; lost to West Florida 22-14.
