The Blue Angels Homecoming Air Show is Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7, 2026, at Naval Air Station Pensacola. It is the Navy flight demonstration squadron’s last show of the season at its home base, and the organizers say it draws more than 300,000 people over the two days, which makes it one of the largest events in Northwest Florida. Admission and parking are free.

When and what time
The air show’s schedule page says gates open at 8 a.m. both days, the flying starts at 9:30 a.m., and the Blue Angels perform at about 2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. They are the last act of the day. The show is the same on both days, the organizers say, though low clouds or high winds can change the acts. The performer lineup for 2026 had not been announced when we checked.
Besides the flying, the FAQ lists aircraft on static display along the flight line, vendor and food booths, souvenir stands and a kids’ zone. The National Naval Aviation Museum next to the airfield is also open.
Tickets and seating
General admission costs nothing. “Bring your own” seating is on both ends of the flight line, on an open paved area where you stand or sit on your own blanket or lawn chair, according to the seating and tickets page. Paid options for 2026:
| Seating | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| General admission | Free | Your own chairs or blanket, open sky |
| Box seating, Friday or Saturday | $50 a day for ages 4 and up, plus fees | Reserved seat at the show line, private portable toilets |
| Flight line chalet, Friday or Saturday | $300 for a table of two, plus fees | Tented seating with catered food and drinks |
Children 3 and under sit free on a lap in the box seats. Each paid ticket covers one day only. There are no military or senior discounts, because entry and parking are already free. Seats can be upgraded on the day if any are left, but the organizers say they have sold out before.
Parking and getting there
Parking is free. Security staff direct drivers to the nearest open lot, and as those fill, to lots with shuttle buses to and from the show, the FAQ says. Drop-offs at the flight line gates are not allowed. Handicap parking is in a lot west of the tarmac, next to the west handicap viewing area, and the shuttles are wheelchair accessible.
Buses are allowed and are parked by security; call 850-452-2653 with questions about large vehicles. RVs and travel trailers can park on a first-come basis, but not overnight. Bicycles are not allowed on base for the show. Motorcyclists must wear a helmet, a reflective vest, closed-toe shoes and long sleeves, according to the safety page. All vehicles are subject to search before entering the base.
What to bring, and what to leave at home
Allowed: folding chairs, lawn chairs and blankets; phones and tablets; small purses and diaper bags; cameras, hand-carried; non-motorized wagons; strollers and wheelchairs; hand-held umbrellas, though the organizers ask you not to block the view behind you. Umbrellas and tripods are not allowed in the paid seating areas.
Not allowed: weapons of any kind, including pocket knives, multi-tools and pepper spray; coolers and ice chests; outside food and drink, except non-glass baby bottles and small snacks for young children; backpacks and most large bags; pets (service animals are welcome); pop-up tents; drones; bicycles, scooters, skateboards and skates. Every bag is searched at the gate.
Food, water and alcohol are sold inside. Some vendors take cards and some do not; an ATM is on site.
What to know
- No rain date. There are no refunds and no rain dates, the organizers say. Check the official site for weather announcements.
- Bring ear protection. Hearing protection is “highly encouraged,” especially for young children. Ear plugs are sold at the show.
- There is no shade in general admission. Bring hats, sunscreen and sunglasses. The FAQ puts the average November temperature at 63 degrees and warns it can be windy on the tarmac, so dress in layers.
- Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome, but no one rents them on site. A wheelchair-only section in the general viewing area is first come, first served.
- Expect to walk. The show covers a large area, and the organizers advise comfortable shoes.
- Smoking is allowed only in designated areas by each gate entry.
2027 dates
The Blue Angels’ published 2027 show schedule lists the homecoming show at NAS Pensacola on Nov. 5-6, 2027. The same schedule lists the separate Pensacola Beach Air Show, over the Gulf at Pensacola Beach, on July 17, 2027.
Watching the team practice is another way to see them. The Blue Angels’ show page says the National Naval Aviation Museum has a practice viewing area, and that the team signs autographs at the museum after most Wednesday practices.
More November plans: fall festivals and pumpkin patches, the Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival the same weekend, and things to do this month.
