Halloween falls on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026. Pensacola’s Halloween season runs through downtown: a Halloween-themed Gallery Night, a children’s choir concert, “The Rocky Horror Show” on stage and a costumed trick-or-treat at Palafox Market. Hurricane Isaias has canceled or paused several events on the beach and across the bay.
After Hurricane Isaias. The storm came ashore near Destin on Oct. 9, and the City of Pensacola and Escambia County are still clearing trees and restoring power. Check each organizer’s page before you go, since dates can move. We will update this page as they do.
For trick-or-treat times and safety advice, see our separate trick-or-treat hours page. The Pensacola Interstate Fair and pumpkin patches are in our fall festivals and pumpkin patches guide.

Friday, Oct. 16: Ghoul-ery Night
Gallery Night: “Ghoul-ery Night.” Gallery Night Pensacola’s October theme is Halloween, according to its 2026 dates page. The free monthly night brings artists, live music, food trucks and downtown businesses out along Palafox Street on the third Friday of the month. As of Oct. 14 the Gallery Night website listed Oct. 16 as its next event, with details “coming soon”; check it for hours and the route.
Beach-O-Ween: canceled. The free Halloween night on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk, set for the same Friday, is “canceled due to Hurricane Isaias,” the Santa Rosa Island Authority says.
Boo at the Zoo: no confirmed date
The Gulf Breeze Zoo, 5701 Gulf Breeze Parkway, holds Boo at the Zoo each October with a Trick-or-Treat Trail, bounce houses and face painting. Its 2026 event page is no longer online, and the zoo’s Hurricane Isaias update says it will reopen once it has power and its paths are safe from fallen debris, with opening details on its social media. We will add Boo at the Zoo dates here when the zoo posts them. Call 866-620-1825 before you go.
Oct. 26-27: Hauntcert
The Pensacola Children’s Chorus sings Hauntcert: A Family-Friendly Halloween Concert, a fall, harvest and Halloween program, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, and Tuesday, Oct. 27, at the Jane C. Noonan Center, across the drive from the chorus at 46 E. Chase St. Online sales close at 5 p.m. on each performance day; the box office opens at 5:30 p.m. A live stream is also sold. The chorus office is 850-434-7760.
Oct. 30 to Nov. 8: “The Rocky Horror Show”
Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St., opens Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show” on its mainstage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, the night before Halloween, with the run closing Sunday, Nov. 8. The box office is open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 850-432-2042.
Saturday, Oct. 31: Halloween day
Halloween Market, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Palafox Market becomes the Halloween Market at Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza and Plaza Ferdinand VII. Children in costume can trick-or-treat with vendors in both parks. There is a live-animal Creepy Critters show by Animal Tales, a Kids Zone with games and mini train rides, Winterfest’s Pumpkinhead and a Haunted Trolley between the two parks. Admission and activities are free except the train rides, the Downtown Improvement Board says.
Harvest Festival. First City Art Center says it will host a Harvest Festival on Oct. 31 at its campus, 1060 N. Guillemard St. Details are in our fall festivals guide.
Meowloween Pawty, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Coastal Cat Cafe, 1508 W. Garden St., spends Halloween night in its cat lounge with spooky decor, candy and costumed cats. Guests are asked to come in costume; tickets are sold on the cafe’s page.
Ghost hunts at the Pensacola Lighthouse
The Pensacola Lighthouse and Maritime Museum runs Ghost Hunts and After Hours Ghost Investigations through its online booking, but its calendar page says the lighthouse is closed to visitors until further notice after Hurricane Isaias. Call 850-393-1561 before booking. The lighthouse stands on Naval Air Station Pensacola, so civilian guests on after-hours tours must ride the lighthouse shuttle bus; you cannot drive yourself in without a military ID that gives base access. Pickup details are emailed after booking, and pickup times differ from start times.
Haunted houses and trunk-or-treats
We found no haunted house in Pensacola with 2026 dates on its organizer’s own page as of Oct. 10. Churches, schools and community centers hold trunk-or-treats each year; we list them on the trick-or-treat hours page once organizers post a date, time and place.
